Well...I can't post 'em on the football board ...so here's my picks for the weekend! College: Ohio State over Penn State Arkansas over Alabama Louisville over Kansas State UCLA over Washington Michigan State over Notre Dame (I went 0 for 5 last week...blew the big one....maybe these will work out better for me!) NFL: Bengals over Steelers Panthers over Bucs (sorry Adam!!) Colts over Jags Giants over Seahawks Saints over Falcons (last week I was 4 outta 5 on my pro picks...can I go 5 for 5? We'll just have to watch and see!) Have a great one! Gotta fire up the grill! Rose

Well....I did much better this week than last! I got 3 outta 5 right in college...lost UCLA and Michigan State. I got half my pro picks right. Giants laid a massive egg! Don't they know they're supposed to play 4 QUARTERS of football? And the Jags just couldn't put it together enough to beat the Colts. My spoiler...Bengals over Steelers....I couldn't believe the fourth quarter! Thought the Steelers were gonna pull it out....but those two turnovers resulting in 14 Bengal points in :54 seconds was astounding. Good thing Steelers have a bye week...Big Ben (to me) is still hurting....he'll get better as the season goes on. As for my Patriots....we need A LOT of work!!! Couldn't make a play to save our lives last night. Next week we take on the Bengals.......if we don't get it together....we're going be 2 and 2! I'm still looking for a Saints win tonite. It would be a great way to kick off their season at home since Katrina. Anyway...gotta rock n roll! See you on the radio! Rose

I got another one right! ;D
I was very happy to see the Saints beat the Falcons!
New Orleans had a Superbowl/Mardi Gras atmosphere...and I know it may only be a football game....the impact of the Super dome opening is huge!
I have extended family and friends there and in Mississippi...and although there's A LOT OF WORK STILL LEFT TO BE DONE....they all feel this is a positive step forward.
So I wrap up the week.....3 outta 5 college...and 3 outta 5 pros.
6 and 4....I don't think I shocked the monkey...so better luck next week!
