I really have mixed emotions writing this blog.
This Friday, September 14th is my last day at Q-94.
My husband has landed a new a job and were relocating from the area. I'm excited about the move...but am a little sad.
I've had SO MUCH FUN rockin' with you for nearly three years!!!
(OK...2 years 8 and a half months).
I've been in this crazy radio biz for 27 years now....and I tell ya....you're the best listeners on the planet! It's been a blast talking to you every day...taking your requests...having a few laughs at Harley Broadcasts and Curve games.
I'll miss going to the basement helping "Boris" find lost classics you request for the "All Request Classic Rock Diner".
I'll miss the crazy behind the scenes antics of our morning madman Adam Ericson! He's such a cool guy...and man do we laugh! (Thankfully there's no web cam here!) Also all the football talk....24 recaps...bathroom bits...and ...his impressions are second to none!
I'll miss JP's birds! Ok...we only bird-sat once...but they grow on ya! I tip my hat to him for promoting local music in Central PA. There are so many excellent local bands...and I've enjoyed checking them out.
Everyone here at the "Q" has been great...Craig, Ken, Kylie, Jody, Pat, Rich, Jason the "Q-94 Truck Stud", the calendar gals, and of course our fearless leader Diane! And thanks Dave for the opportunity to rock out! I had a ball!
Thanks for letting me share your day with you....and keep it locked on the coolest classic rock station on the planet!
Peace
Rose
