Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the October 2 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
Thanks to our guest this week, Clarion-based musician and composer Dave Buzard. We again explored Dave’s studio project venture, Project Twelve(34) (www.projecttwelve34.com), and previewed the forthcoming second Project Twelve(34) CD, Before Daylight, expected to be released in early 2006. Dave offered thoughts on his musical creations, and also offered interesting insights on his goals of having his music heard and perhaps someday used in film and television.
Along the way, we checked on Local Music News, and we debuted new music from Vincent Youngbauer and Flord.
Here is this week’s playlist:
HOUR ONE:
WINE OF NAILS – “Frenzy!”
THE NIGHTCRAWLERS – “Black Hole”
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Restless and Rusted”
VINCENT YOUNGBAUER – “Eyes On The Price”
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “L.A. Natural”
SHADES OF JUNE – “Reflection”
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Gathering Of Tribes”
HOUR TWO:
‘ALL-STAR JAM’ – “Ace Of Spades” (performed live on air during Acoustic Jam Special 3, 3/13/05)
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Slant 666”

PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Christopher Walken”
FALSE ICONS – “Cycle”
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Door to Heaven”
PROJECT TWELVE(34) – “Strung Down”
Next Sunday night, it’s another installment of the “Backyard Rocker” Acoustic Jam Special! We’ll again find out what happens when we place a bunch of area acoustic players in a broadcast studio and turn them loose! The last time, the listening audience got treated to an 8-minute, acoustic ‘psychograss’ rendition of Motorhead’s “Ace Of Spades!” What will happen this time? Find out, when Dave Distefano, John Charney, Denny Owens, Grinning Mob and perhaps another guest or two visit us in the studio for Acoustic Jam Special 4, next Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”
Forthcoming guests and specials include:
OCT. 16 – AHRT Rocky Horror Preview
