In Local Music News. Lebanon Valley College will be presenting their third annual Music Industry Conference on Saturday, October 27. This conference provides a day of panels and seminars dealing with various aspects of the music industry. For more information about the conference, visit the website www.lvc.edu/mic. Bad Daze has found their new drummer to replace Randy Wilson, who left the group recently to devote more time to his original music project, Way Down East. Former 9 Planet Tour and current 7th Gear drummer Eric Wertz will take over behind the drum kit for Bad Daze. The Johnstown acoustic duo of Denise Baldwin and Roy Milstead won their preliminary round in the annual Pittsburgh Acoustic Challenge this past Tuesday night at the Lava Lounge in Pittsburgh. The pair move on to the finals this coming Tuesday night at the Rhythm House in Bridgeville, as they compete against five other finalists. We at the "Backyard Rocker" wish Denise and Roy the best of luck.
