15TH “END OF SUMMER JAM” BENEFIT CONCERT @ CRESSON SPORTSMEN’S CLUB, CRESSON 8/27-8/28/05
With the onset of cold weather, I thought I'd take everybody back to late August, when the weather was a good bit warmer. Q94 was again proud to be a part of the 15th annual "End Of Summer Jam" benefit concert at the Cresson Sportsmen's Club, with proceeds helping out Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
The weather was a little rainy on Saturday, which stunted attendance some. Sunday's weather and attendance were better, and the whole weekend resulted in well over $2,000 collected for Children's Hospital. Hats off to show organizer Mickey Luckenbaugh, Ace's Music in Cresson for providing the sound and lights, Mazz's Pizza for operating the food pavilion, all the bands and musicians who donated their time and talents, and all the fans who joined with us for another memorable "End Of Summer Jam!"
Here are some photos from the two days' bands and festivities...
