Keeping with tradition, the final live Harley broadcast every year before the big giveaway happened at Roberts Beverages in Altoona. Panicking Harley hopefuls showed up en force for one last ditch effort to punch their tickets to the big drawing the next day. Sixteen names were drawn during the broadcast, leaving just six open spots left out of the 947; one of those would be filled at midnight with the traditional taking of the 94th caller to qualify, and five final qualifiers would be drawn at Burgi's Roundhouse the following morning before the drawing itself began.
Besides the qualifying, Roberts Beverages was giving away several promotional items during the broadcast, and the Miller Lite representative (who bore a close resemblance to Q94's own Craig Andrews) was on hand to give out Miller Lite samples. It was another fun and interesting last Harley broadcast, filled with excitement, anticipation and apprehension as the last names were drawn. Thanks everybody for coming out!
