hi, my name is Jeremiah, and I live here in Altoona. I'm not sure how big the station is on playing covers of classic rock songs by other bands from today. I know you play Aerosmiths cover of 'Come Together' by The Beatles, but both are classic rock bands.
So where I'm heading to with this, I'm a fan of the Dave Matthews Band, and this summer they have played a TON of covers. They allow taping at their shows and people to share their music people record with their own equipment. And I have a few songs that the station might be interested in? I'll list them here, and if you might want to give a listen to them reply to this or send me an email at my email address.
The songs, and dates played, with venue.
Thank You(Falletinme Be Mice Elf Agin)- Sly and the Family Stone(5-30-08; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake)
Hey, Hey My, My(Into the Black)- Neil Young(6-3-08; Susquehanna Bank Center; Camden, NJ)
Money(That's What I Want)- Various Artists(5-31-08; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake)
Sledgehammer- Peter Gabriel(6-28-08; Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge; Bristow, VA)
pregnant dog- Rolling Stones(6-4-08; Susquehanna Bank Center; Camden, NJ)
Money- Pink Floyd(6-10-08; Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain; Scranton, PA)
Money- Pink Floyd(5-31-08; Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake)(this version, the sax player has his sax malfunction during his solo, but is followed by a sweet electric solo to make up for it)
Again, if you are interested in hearing these to maybe play on the radio, let me know. Thanks.
